Titus Gant is an active music educator and performer in the region. Born in rural South Carolina, Titus earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the historic Claflin University. During his undergraduate studies with Bryson Borgstedt, he began to teach privately and perform with many ensembles offered including Wind and Jazz. For Post Graduate Study, he attended the acclaimed North Carolina Central University Jazz Program. While there, Titus had the privilege to study with Brian Horton, Joey Calderazzo, and Branford Marsalis graduating Magna Cum Laude. Based in Greensboro NC the Titus Gant Quartet combines a unique sound, groove and creativity within the Jazz tradition....
