This Thursday, Jean Calvert with Whimsy will be in the Palms Piano Lounge in the Phoenix, 6:30 till 9:30 pm. Whimsy consists of Jean Calvert on vocals, Nate Smith on the baby grand, and John Brookshire on bass. We do a smattering of jazz, a bit of blues, and lots of 60s and 70s hits. The Palms Piano Lounge is one of Greenville's treasures: A beautifully decorated, inviting room, acoustically good; wonderful food and wine cellar; live entertainment; respectful audience who enjoy eating, drinking, and who mix and mingle quietly.
