Bio: The Modern Riffs is a high energy mentoring jazz and classic rock band where talented high school musicians perform alongside experienced musicians.The group features a singer backed by four horns and a powerhouse rhythm section. The group is celebrating its tenth year, and has fielded almost 40 young musicians, many of whom have made performing arts their career. The group will bring a repertoire of straight ahead jazz, 70s and 80s classic rock, and are looking forward to performing at The Buttonwood Tree once again.
