On Tues the 14th, master musician and trumpeter Barry Ries returns for the third time as our guest. Here as a faculty member at UMass Jazz in July, Barry is without doubt one of our favorite musicians to listen to and to play with. His ideas are fluid, flowing, spontaneous and totally connected to the roots of the music that have come before yet in constant forward motion. Come check him out at the 7:30 set and stay around for the jam session that follows. No cover, no minimum.
