In addition to his association with Rollins, Clifton has worked with an "A list" of various musical luminaries including Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Keith Richards and Slide Hampton among others. Clifton's performances showcase his stellar group interpreting a variety of swinging originals; high energy straight-ahead, calypsos, funk and American standards.
