Ethan Iverson has listened to Ron Carter as long as he’s been listening to jazz. He has written about Carter frequently on his well-respected jazz blog Do The Math and is quoted several times in Carter’s biography Finding the Right Notes. For this special duo project, Iverson has invited the legendary bassist to join him in a program of familiar standards, jazz classics, and Carter originals.
