JAMIE BAUM, NYC flutist/composer/recording artist/clinician has toured the US, and over 25 countries in Europe, Japan, South America and South Asia working with several renowned musicians including George Russell, Donald Brown, Mick Goodrick, Fred Hersch and Kenny Barron. Though focusing primarily on jazz, she has been involved in several projects, performances and tours performing classical, new music, Brazilian, Indian and Latin music.
Her fifth CD, In This Life, comes out on October 8, 2013 on Sunnyside Records and she will be celebrating its release with a performance at The Side Door, among other venues throughout the east coast....
