This week we are pleased to be joined by saxophonist, composer and Amherst College music professor Jason Robinson. Jason suggested that we feature some of the incredible and important jazz music that was composed in 1959, a year that exploded with new ideas and new directions in the music. Composers featured will include Miles, Coltrane, Mingus, Brubeck, and Ornette.
