Jazz Nutcracker Six at Northampton Jazz Workshop Series at The Loft At The Clarion Hotel

We will be featuring a sextet playing arrangements I wrote based on Tchaikovsky's melodies for the Nutcracker Ballet. The music was composed for a tap dance show that toured seasonally throughout NY and New England from 2000-2009. Sadly, we don't have the room for the 15 or so dancers we used so this will be instrumental versions only!
Besides the Green Street Trio, we will have the original horn section: Rob Faulkner on trumpet, Bruce Krasin on woodwinds and Tim Atherton on trombone. I hope you can join us for a merry old time. And of course, as always, there will still be a jam session following the concert set....
