About
Our first guest in December, John Stowell brings a thoughtful virtuosity to his arrangements and improvisations; a beautiful sound and feel and big ears (meaning he hears and is sensitive to and engages with everything that's being played on the bandstand and doesn't miss a thing). John is based in Portland, OR but makes a trip to the East Coast a couple times every year. This will be his third appearance with us and I'm expecting some interesting musical explorations to abound. I hope you can join and stick around for the jam session. No cover, no minimum.
