Master class with award-winning jazz group the Danny Green Trio, intended for musicians or music students who wish to advance their learning of the elements and styles of Brazilian music.

Danny Green is a pianist/composer/educator who has taught private piano lessons since 2000 and has also taught piano classes at colleges and high schools in the San Diego area. He has been a faculty member of the Jazz Workshop at Francis Parker School since 2012 and his trio was featured as artists in residence at the 2013 CSU Summer Arts in Monterey, CA.

Danny received his B.A. in Piano Performance from UC San Diego, where he graduated with honors and won the “Jimmy Cheatham Jazz Award.” In 2011, he received his Master’s Degree in Music from San Diego State University with an emphasis on Jazz Studies and was awarded “Outstanding Graduate.”...
