About
Pamela Means, singer-songwriter and jazz musician, with âmad guitar-and-vocal skillsâ (Time Out New York) has toured throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Australia, winning awards, delighting audiences and impressing critics with her seven independent releases along the way. Currently, Means is preparing her eighth album, a solo acoustic live-in-the-studio recording, for national release.
Pamela Meansâs multiple honors include being named Falcon Ridge Folk Festivalâs â# 1 Most Wanted New Artist,â âWisconsin Folk Artist of the Year,â âWisconsin Female Vocalist of the Year,â and her politically provocative album, Single Bullet Theory, was voted 2004âs âOutmusic Outstanding New Recording.â Pamela Means was twice voted âBest Acoustic Actâ of the year in her hometown of Milwaukee WI, and later nominated for the âOutstanding Contemporary Folk Artistâ Boston Music Award. Curve Magazine calls her âone of the fiercest guitar players and politically-rooted singer-songwriters in the music industry today.â...
