An evening of very sophisticated, George Shearing-esque jazz with Jim Argiro and his quintet. In addition to Jim on Piano, the group boasts two other highly respected soloists in Mario DiCiutiis on Vibraphone and Rich Goldstein on Guitar. Along with our old friend Jason Schwartz on Bass, and Tido Holtkamp on Drums, this band really swings.
Juke Joint Jazz will open with Ken Forfia on Piano, David Kisala on Saxes, George Kaye on Bass, Claire Arenius on Drums and Michael Levine on Guitar, doing hard-driving arrangements of our own jazz favorites.
