The 2014 Farmington Bank Community Concert Series featuring Simply Swing continues 7 pm, July 11, at the Malerbo Recreation Center, Burlington, CT. Under the direction of drummer/composer Joe LaRosa, the amazing 10-piece swing orchestra features six swinging horns, a dynamic rhythm section and vocalist Vivian LaRosa. Simply Swing performs favorites from the Big Band and Swing Dance eras and selections from the group's "Dancing to Simply Swing" CD released last year.
