From the Korean rising star singer Song Yi Jeon to internationally renowned British musicians like Percy Pursglove, Jim Hart, and Ivo Neame, and the legendary Irish-born veteran Christy Doran, five illustrious musicians contribute to Arbenz's project.
Surprisingly, the band lacks a traditional bass player. However, Jim Hart, Ivo Neame, and Christy Doran share the bass role, adding more colour, flexibility, and unpredictability to the music – a true embodiment of the jazz spirit!

The music oscillates between deep grooves, thrilling improvisations, and lyrical sections, giving the musicians ample freedom to weave in their personal musical stories and character.
The music, though, always maintains its coherence and overarching theme, with Arbenz imprinting his unique signature through sophisticated harmonies, strong melodies, unusual instrumentation, and his knack for varying combinations of fellow musicians.

Lähes 30-vuotisen musiikkiuran tehnyttä Florian Arbenzia on kuvailtu yhdeksi Euroopan parhaista rumpaleista. Arbenz on urallaan toistuvasti osoittanut, että hän ei ole ainoastaan loistava rumpali, vaan hänellä on myös erityinen kyky kuratoida ainutlaatuisia ja kiehtovia muusikko- ja soitinyhdistelmiä.
Uusimmassa projektissaan Arbenz on hyödyntänyt lukuisilla Britannian vierailuilla luomaansa laajaa verkostoaan. Tuloksena on riemastuttava uusi huippumuusikoiden muodostama kokoonpano.“Conversation” on räätälöity juuri tälle kokoonpanolle.
Viisi arvostettua muusikkoa antaa oman panoksensa Arbenzin projektiin – mukana ovat nouseva korealainen laulajatähti Song Yi Jeon, kansainvälisesti tunnetut brittimuusikot Percy Pursglove, Jim Hart ja Ivo Neame, sekä legendaarinen irlantilaislähtöinen kitaristi Christy Doran.

Materiaali vaihtelee rytmisten, innostavien improvisaatioiden ja lyyristen osioiden välillä antaen muusikoille runsaasti vapautta tuoda omaa persoonallisuuttaan musiikkiin. Arbenzin uniikki kädenjälki näkyy yhtyeen musiikissa hienostuneina harmonioina, vahvoina melodioina sekä epätavallisina ja vaihtelevina instrumentaatioina.
Yhtyeen kokoonpano on siinä mielessä epätavallinen, että siitä puuttuu perinteinen basisti. Jim Hart, Ivo Neame ja Christy Doran jakavat kuitenkin basson roolin vuorollaan tuoden musiikkiin lisää väriä, joustavuutta ja yllätyksiä - ja ilmentäen upeasti jazzin henkeä!
