UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra opens the doors of its rehearsal space for the audience! At UMO Helsinki’s open rehearsals you will witness how the program gets crystallised and the orchestra’s sound unified. As the rehearsals are kept as authentic as possible, certain parts and passages may be honed a number of times. The conductor will also be present at the rehearsals, directing the orchestra toward the desired sound.

Free admission, no pre-registration.
The rehearsals are open for visitors from 12:30 to 14:30.

UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra avaa harjoitussalinsa ovet yleisölle avoimien harjoitusten muodossa. Avoimissa harjoituksissa tutustutaan big bandin työskentelyyn autenttisessa harjoitustilanteessa keskusteluineen ja keskeytyksineen, ja esimerkiksi kappaleiden tiettyjä osuuksia saatetaan käydä useita kertoja läpi. Tilaisuudet lähentävät orkesterin ja yleisön suhdetta, sillä harjoituksissa tulee tutuiksi paitsi soittimiin, soittamiseen ja muusikkouteen liittyvät seikat, myös muusikot itse.
Ystävänpäivän 14.2. harjoituksissa viimeistellään ohjelmistoa UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestran, Timo Lassyn ja Valtteri Laurell Pöyhösen seuraavan päivän Yön Rakastaja –konserttiin. Lisätiedot konsertista 15.2.2024 Korjaamolla >>
