Lyömäsoitintaiteilija Mika Kallion neljäs oma levy Gong Odyssey julkaistiin kesäkuussa 2022. Levyllä pääosassa ovat kiehtovat gongit. Sävellykset huojuvat gongien luonteen mukaisesti ambientin ja improvisoidun musiikin välimaastossa. Kallio heittäytyy rohkeasti kartoittamattomille alueille loihtien ääniavaruuden, jossa aika lakkaa olemasta. Kiertueelle yhtyeenjohtaja on koonnut ympärilleen monipuolisen ja luovan ryhmän, joka hallitsee pääsoittimiensa lisäksi myös gongien soittamisen hartaan taidon.
Mika Kallio tunnetaan sooloprojektiensa lisäksi mm. Jussi Fredriksson Triosta ja Verneri Pohjola Quartetista. Pianisti-rumpali Jussi Fredriksson soittaa oman trionsa lisäksi mm. Pope Puolitaival Nordic 4 ja Freezer-yhtyeissä. Puupuhallinspesialisti Max Zenger johtaa omia Globus- ja Maxxxtet-yhtyeitään, ja rumpali Jaska Lukkarista näkee ja kuulee mm. Timo Lassy Triossa ja Ricky-Tick Big Bandissa.
