Panurama-klubi vierainaan Teppo Mäkynen, Teemu Viinikainen & Jori Huhtala at Lavaklubi

The Panurama club series returns to the cosy downstairs venue, Lavaklubi, of the Finnish National Theatre. Hosted by vibeist Panu Savolainen, the spring season of the concert series sees a number of high-profile concerts featuring some of the foremost Finnish musicians. Panurama will throw all genre categories joyfully out of window, mixing folk music, classical music and jazz in a fresh and interesting way à la Savolainen.
The spring season will close in a concert that sees four expectional jazzers join forces. Last year, Panu Savolainen toured Finland with guitarist Teemu Viinikainen and bassist Jori Huhtala performing jazzy versions of Toivo Kärki's works to celebrate the 100th anniversary of this Finnish master composer. Now the trio has invited Finland's number one drummer, Teppo Mäkynen, to join their ranks. On the menu we will have not Kärki's compositions but Savolainen's new originals. ...

Panurama-klubit marssittavat jälleen Lavaklubille suomalaisia musiikkielämän huippunimiä. Klubia isännöivä vibrafonisti Panu Savolainen loihtii vaihtuvien vieraiden kanssa monipuolisia konsertteja, joissa tullaan kuulemaan mm. kansanmusiikkia, klassista musiikkia sekä tietenkin jazzia. Panumaisella tavalla sekoitettuna ja tarjoiltuna, rennolla meiningillä.
Klubin kevätkausi päättyy toukokuussa maamme arvostetuimpien jazznimien tähdittämänä. Toivo Kärjen 100-vuotisjuhlavuonna 2015 Panu Savolainen kiersi Suomea Kärki-ohjelmistollaan kitaristi Teemu Viinikaisen sekä basisti Jori Huhtalan kanssa. Nyt estradilla ovat samat herrat yhdessä mestarirumpali Teppo Mäkysen kanssa. Samalla ohjelmisto on vaihtunut Topi Kärjen sijasta Savolaisen tuoreisiin jazzsävellyksiin. Tämä on kuultava ja nähtävä!
