The release was accompanied by two launch concerts in the sax manโs home town, Helsinki, both of which sold out in advance. Melodic, swinging and energetic, the album is a distillation of the core ingredients of Lassyโs music. But with such names as Georgios Kontrafouris (wurlitzer), Antti Lรถtjรถnen (bass), Teppo Mรคkynen (drums) and Abdissa Assefa (percussion) it is hardly a surprise that this tight-knit ensemble is best enjoyed live.
