Vilkka Wahl Quartet Feat. Jure Pukl at April Jazz Club

Vilkka Wahl is a Finnish guitarist and composer now based in Vienna, Austria. The new quartet features Severi Pohjola - a Finnish vibraphone virtuoso - Mikko Arlin - a versatile and energetic drummer from Helsinki - and bassist Teemu Åkerblom playing in many up-and-coming Finnish jazz groups.

For the now beginning tour in Finland the band will be joined by the Slovenian saxophonist Jure Pukl who is one of the most profilic and creative saxophonists of the younger Slovene jazz generation. Recordings from the tour will be released on a new album in 2017.
