Da Camera presents Venezuelan-born jazz vocalist and songwriter Raquel Cepeda performing her explosive Latin Jazz repertoire, Passion.
Raquel will be accompanied by her sextet, composed by a team of world class musicians: Barry Sames on piano, Thomas Helton on double bass, Orlando Fuentes on drums, Cassio Duarte on percussion, Ernesto Camilo Vega on sax, and Felix De Leon on trumpet.
This event is part of the JAM concert series produced by Da Camera, and with funding from the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance. The evening will start at 6:30 with a show by Chilean-American jazz pianist and composer Jose Miguel Yamal, followed by Raquel Cepeda's band at 7:30 pm.
This is a free concert. Blankets, lawn chairs and picnics are welcome; food, beer and wine are available at the Lake House. No glass containers or outside alcoholic beverages, please.
