Three years later, Headley moved from the stage to the studio to record as a solo artist, generating multiple chart-topping R&B and Dance hits. Her 2009 album “Audience of One” earned Headley her first GRAMMY Award for Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album. Headley’s career continues to evolve, including recent performances in television and film, such as the Netflix series “Sweet Magnolias” and the Aretha Franklin biopic “Respect.”
