Leonid & Friends first grabbed viral fame in 2014 with their performance of Chicago’s “Brand New Love Affair.” No charts or scores of the song existed, so Vorobyev transcribed the tune by ear, scoring, arranging, mixing, and mastering it himself.In early 2019, the band embarked on its first tour outside Russia that had fans dancing in the aisles.
