5 Days, 50 events, with more than 100 musicians from across Europe, Ireland and Galway. The 2019 Galway Jazz Festival- the most westerly in Europe- takes place across 20 different venues ranging from formal theatre settings to rowdy jams via intimate cafes and sweaty bars.
This year's festival has environmental awareness and sustainability at it's core, aiming to drive down it's carbon footprint and achieve zero waste in an environment of world class music where we celebrate our great city and county and the massive global shift in environmental awareness.
