The Mike Nielsen Quartet is a new exciting acoustic quartet assembled by guitarist Mike Nielsen. The group brings together some of the finest musicians on the Irish music scene today: Boston born vocalist Ellen Demos; clarinetist Brendan Doyle and percussionist Shane O'Donovan. The music, composed by the leader, is innovative and comprises an eclectic mix of musical influences from jazz, classical, rock and traditional cultures.
