Çağrı Sertel, who took up piano at 12, started writing his own music in high school years. Getting introduced to jazz during university years, he improved himself in this music at Istanbul Bilgi University, getting the chance to work with names like Aydın Esen, Ricky Ford, Donovan Mixon, Cengiz Baysal, Can Kozlu and Selen Gülün. A man of projects, regularly attending jazz festivals, Sertel garners attention producing new music in the genres of jazz, R&B, pop, elektronic and rock. This year, Sertel released his second studio album Instant from Kabak & Lin label, after a long wait. And now, during the 27th Akbank Jazz Festival, you will have the privilege of listening to this all-star album live, in the cozy atmosphere of Akbank Sanat’s concert hall.
