Drummer and vibraphonist Jason Marsalis is the youngest musician of the Marsalis family, the most famous jazz family of New Orleans. Following in the footsteps of his big brothers Branford, Wynton and Delfeayo, he took part in his jazz pianist father Ellis Marsalis' album when he was 15. He is 39 today with over 60 albums he played in, some of which being his own releases. As well as being a virtuoso, he is equally skilled at composing.
