Özge Pınar born in Istanbul/Turkey, graduated from Yildiz Thecnical University as an engineer. During her university years she started her music studies and career and began to perform in various blues and rock bands. After her graduation, she had attended to Istanbul Bilgi University jazz performance department for a year, and continued her studies with private music lessons and international music workshops. She studied voice, jazz repertoire and style with Nükhet Ruacan, Sibel Köse, Randy Kartiganer Esen, and Ayse Sezerman and music theory with Prof. Donovan Mixon. She had performed on 14th Istanbul Jazz Festival on main scene, and also won the first prize at Nardis International Jazz Vocal Competition, in 2007. From 2004 till now she sings the standart jazz repertoire and works with some of the most important musicians of the Turkish jazz scene (such as Neşet Ruacan, Donovan Mixon, İmer Demirer, Şenova Ülker, Önder Focan, Cengiz Baysal…etc.), performing mostly in clubs and at numerious festivals and special concert events. She continues her studies at Codarts Rotterdam Jazz Conservatory, Jazz Singing department with Fay Claassen.
