Şenol Küçükyıldırım’s new band called WeeD consists of guitarist
Şevket Akıncı and bass guitarist Murat Çopur. Şenol Küçükyıldırım,
who previously worked with avant-garde musicians such as Cecil Taylor, Ornette Coleman, and John Cage brings a new
interpretation to soundbased, free, improvised music.. Küçükyıldırım, who received recognition with his
“Inwards, Soundness and Mother Tongue” concert series, is
constantly seeking to find new forms in modern music.
