Métromusette is the Roman band dedicated to the most important French compositions of the first half of the 1900s and to the great French and international performers who have spread the music of Trenet, Piaf, Kosma, Betti, Django and more all over the world. Some pieces of the repertoire remain poetic and dreamy like the era in which they were born: the era of gramophones in homes and accordions in the squares. Other songs, on the other hand, are completely rearranged and redesigned to create an evocative trait d’union between France, Europe and the Americas. Inspired by the love for the French language and music of the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, the Métromusettes present a refined and lively musical show that evokes the magical nights in the Ville Lumière. From popular songs, passing through swing, valse musette and French jazz, just close your eyes to imagine yourself walking on the banks of the Seine, surrounded by a retro atmosphere....
