Backroads Project was founded in 2017 by the desire to create something innovative starting from the music of the pioneers of fusion: Yellowjackets, Bob Berg, Mike Stern Band, Chick Corea Electric Band, Steps Ahead.
Waiting Times, the title of the band's first studio work, as well as a ballad inside the band, is the result of the search for a sound identity and a tribute to the great musicians who are for us a source of inspiration.
