The project is an Italian work, but with an international breadth and support, the American label “”BluJazz”” and Nicolas Kummert on sax (Belgium). At the Elegance Cafè she presents herself in a trio:

The disc is a thousand-faceted jazz, with a modern flavor that goes beyond the traditional sound typical of mainstream and cool jazz to contaminate itself with other musical genres thanks to a brilliant improvisational streak and a strong mastery of interplay. The compositions open the way to funky, wink at pop music and do not disdain rapid forays into even eights suggestions, ECM atmospheres, poignant ballads and compositions with more articulated sounds, syncopated times and ethnic references.
Many of the original compositions, for the most part signed by Cecilia Sanchietti, are inspired by what is called “”The third way””, the most uncomfortable, the most difficult and tortuous, often revolutionary, always oriented and always in search of the truth and the affirmation of quality.
