The Trio proposes a bit all the classics of the “”Era of the swing”” of the 30s of which the famous clarinetist, composer and director was one of the absolute masters. The formation, without double bass, thus reproduces in a trio some pieces of the tradition written for Big Band, through a careful search for sounds, colors, openings that re-read this delicate repertoire in a more modern key but without neglecting the typical propulsion of Swing.”
