A concert dedicated to Thelonious Monk, one of the most influential twentieth century jazz musicians.
Eccentric and iconic figure, debated and mythologized pianist, fine composer of many masterpieces that have become "standard" of the jazz repertoire.
For the occasion, the quartet, consisting of Laura Sciocchetti on vocals, Lewis Saccocci on piano, Riccardo Gola on double bass and Valerio Vantaggio on drums, will make use of the virtuosity of an exceptional guest: the Italo-French guitarist Vittorio Silvestri.
