It is a line-up born from the initiative of the French double bass singer Naima Girou and the guitarist Vittorio Silvestri. Daughter of art, Naima starts studying music very early. In 2019 he works on a new repertoire of compositions and standards and for this occasion he takes advantage of the participation of the pianist Andrea Pellegrini, the guitarist Vittorio Silvestri and the drummer Michael Santanastasio.
Together they explore and arrange transforming a traditional jazz repertoire into an innovative and multifaceted experience. There are many musical references to which Naima is inspired, names such as Betty Carter, John Coltrane, Abbey Lincoln, Horace Silver or Sarah Vaughan....
