The Open Space Quartet was established in 2014 by Carlo Bordini who, passionate about music, Claude Bolling, wanted to spread and record his works. The quartet holds a series of concerts in jazz clubs (eg Le Rane di Testaccio) and halls of classical tradition (Auditorium del Parco, L’Aquila) and records Suite No. 2 for flute and jazz trio for Breazy Record. DESCRIPTION
Claude Bolling’s music blends classic and jazz elements in a captivating and never boring way. It therefore meets the taste of both specialists (who are able to appreciate the versatility of the performers) and a wider audience. The concert lasts about an hour and can be integrated with other pieces, always inspired by the principles of contamination between musical genres and audience appeal.

Iolanda Zignani, a pupil of Conrad Klemm and Severino Gazzelloni, graduated with honors at the “A. Boito” Conservatory of Parma and later at the “S. Davide Annechiarico,
pianist, singer, arranger, director.
He devoted himself to classical studies from the earliest age, approaching modern music and jazz, forming around Italy and the United States (New York Jazz Academy, Nuoro Jazz, Umbria Jazz, Stefano Sabatini, Gianluigi Clemente, Marco Tiso ,). He has collaborated with artists such as Renzo Arbore, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Vittorio Nocenzi, Brian Auger, Ray Gelato, Meschyia Lake, Katia Ricciarelli, Annalisa Minetti, Luisa Corna, the Bandalarga orchestra of Marco Tiso, the pop orchestra of M ° Giraldi. Carlo Bordini,
he graduated from the Conservatory “Alfredo
Casella ”of L’Aquila under the guidance of maestro Antonio Striano. He also graduated in Literature at the “La Sapienza” University of Rome with a thesis in Musicology. He was for thirty years a percussionist in the orchestra of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, also dedicating himself to jazz and pop music (“Cherry Five”, “Rustichelli and Bordini”). He is interpreting and divulging the music of Claude Bolling,
of which he recorded the cello suite and the suite nr. 2 for flute ..
Giuseppe Civiletti studied with Massiomo Giorgi perfected with Luca Cola in the classical field and studied jazz with Furio di Castri, Attilio Zanchi, Gianluca Renzi, Stefano Cantarano. He was part of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Rome, Panharmonikon Orchestra and International Conservative Orchestra. He currently collaborates with the International Orchestra of Rome, Orchestra Emilia Romagna, Orchestra Ergo Cantemus of Tivoli, Italian Philharmonic Orchestra (Tour in China) BIM Orchestra (Laura Pausini the VOLO) Chamber Orchestra of Frosinone, Orchestra Nuova Amadeus of Rome, Orchetsra Savelli (Palombara Sabina) and Vesevo Symphony Orchestra (Renato Zero). He collaborates regularly with the Big Band by Emanuele Urso, Orchestra Novi Toni Comites (Stefano Mhanna).
