Lara Iacovini will present a repertoire taken from her latest records, in particular RIGHT TOGETHER, the album realized in collaboration with the great New York bassist Steve Swallow, on whose music the jazz vocalist wrote the lyrics.
The concert will be preceded by a brief presentation of the book
“The other half of jazz”, dedicated to the figure of women in jazz music, published by journalist and music critic Gerlando Gatto....

Singer Lara Iacovini, Brescian of birth and Roman of adoption, graduated in Modern Literature at the La Sapienza University of Rome and in Canto Jazz at the Verona Conservatory.
She has collaborated with numerous musicians including Giovanni Falzone, Adam Nussbaum, Mario Rusca, Mauro Beggio, Roberto Cipelli, Massimo Colombo, Stefano Bagnoli.
She has taught Jazz Singing in various conservatories including Parma, Trieste, Como, Cuneo.
She recently published two singles recorded in collaboration with Roman writer – composer Massimiliano Nudi
