The group takes its cue from the great formations “Hard-Bop” and “post-Coltrane” of the 50s and 60s, from the “Jazz Messengers” of Art Blakey, to the group of the Adderley brothers, and generally referring to a strictly instrumental Jazz, warm, sanguine and that makes rhythm in general and Swing in particular, its main feature.
The elements of the group are all teachers of Conservatory of Jazz courses and in particular Mauro Zazzarini, was awarded as “Best Jazz Musician of 2011” in the prize “Italian Jazz Awards 2011”....
