The North East Florida Jazz Association (NEFJA) will present Legacy Jazz Festival ’08 on May 10 – 11 at Pirates Auditorium in Palm Coast, Florida. Headliners include jazz greats Freddy Cole, Eddie Henderson, Javon Jackson, Lisa Kelley, JB Scott, Teddy Adams, Doug Carn and others including former NEFJA scholarship recipient Vincent Gardner, a member of Wynton Marsalis’ Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, who will be performing with his quintet.
On Saturday, there will be non-stop music on two stages beginning at 12 Noon and continuing until 9:00 pm. There will also be great food, arts and crafts and other booths. The Sunday program is a Jazz Luncheon that begins at 2:00 p.m. featuring The Doug Carn Big Band with vocalist Mary Louise.
