The TBA Big Band plays modern jazz! Dancers also love the music. The TBA Big Band was created in the summer of 2009 to serve the local jazz community and music lovers with fun and entertaining modern big band music. We are the only regularly performing professional big band in North Florida! Dr. Marc Dickman, the leader of the TBA band, is a founding member of the acclaimed Jazz Studies program at UNF and has performed as a leader or sideman around the world. However or roots are in the swing era and many tunes we play are danceable and we often have swing dancers at our engagements!
