The Jazz Arts Foundation, Inc.
Mission Statement: To enhance the awareness of Jazz as a performing art.
Since its founding in 1989, the Jazz Arts Foundation has committed itself to the purpose of educating the public about Jazz Arts through the promotion of awareness and sensitivity to Jazz, and to upgrade it as a performing art to the level of community acceptance and support equal to that given other performing arts.
JAF serves Kentucky and the surrounding states.
Membership is open to all. A quarterly newsletter, the JAM SESSION, is published and sent to all members providing information on jazz in Kentucky, new CD releases, concert reviews, interviews, and much more.
