WVC Trio + 1's music each tells a different story and resonates differently with the daily lives of every listener using the free space of jazz rhythms, melodies and sounds. WVC Trio + 1, while having roots in Jazz, have always defied categorization - being more concerned with the stories they tell rather than the category the belong to.

Since 2006 where the band was originally set up as a trio, the Malaysian Jazz band have been working on developing their own distinct music vocabulary to present to the world. In 2007, the WVC Trio embarked on its maiden Tour, and since then has become an annual occurrence, bringing their unique blend of music to the World including most major cities in China such as BeiJing, TianJin, ShangHai, ShuZhou, NanJing, WuXi, ChangSha, GuangZhou, ShenZhen and FuoShan to name a few, as well as other major cities like TaiPei, Singapore, Macau, Bangkok, and in the United States covering cities like Pittsburgh, New York and Morgan City. ...

The band believes in the journey of the Tour, and have kept their tours following the footsteps of the Jazz Musicians before by using whatever means of available transport, public or adhoc, playing from town to town along the way; bringing their music to even the most obscure hamlets.

自從2006年以三重奏的身份出擊，馬來西亞爵士樂團WVC TRiO +1 一直致力於創造屬於他們的音樂語匯，再將他們的音樂帶到世界各角落。從2007年開始就進行一年一度的巡迴，至今他們已經走過了中國各大城市（北京，天津，上海，蘇州，南京，無錫，長沙，廣州，深圳，佛山）以及台北，台中，澳門，曼谷，新加坡，匹茲堡，紐約和摩根城。他們也秉持著最原始的巡演精神，以一輛貨車出發，進行一年一度的馬來西亞巡演，往往將音樂帶到令人意想不到的小鎮城鄉。
