Joanne and Bill Church West Circle SeriesWhile for many Rachmaninoff is known first as a composer of masterpieces, he was also one of the foremost pianists of his time. His compositions explore the complexities and expressiveness of the piano. This concert celebrates his work in the year he would have turned 150, featuring the Symphonic Dances for two pianos as well as vocal selections.
