This special gig will feature the Doncaster Jazz Orchestra: the Alumni and the professional level ensemble of the Doncaster Youth Jazz Orchestra (DYJA). Most of the members are professional musicians who have a long standing relationship with DYJA - many of you will be familiar with saxophonist Nadim Teimoori and trumpeter Reuben Fowler, who will be among those appearing at this gig - some are part-time professionals and some are teachers. The orchestra is recording an album to celebrate its 50th anniversary in October and they will be playing material that will feature on the album in a stylistically diverse programme.
