Multi-award winning young saxophonist and composer Emma Rawicz makes her Sheffield Jazz debut with a star-studded band of top British jazz musicians. Emma is already making waves on the UK scene, having been described as "an astonishing new talent" by Jamie Cullum. She won Best Newcomer at the 2022 Parliamentary Jazz Awards and was a finalist in the 2022 BBC Young Jazz Musician competition. Her music has a unique sound, fusing many influences and her compositions range from lilting Afro Cuban inspired grooves to hard hitting modern jazz and funk numbers.
