Saxophonist Jean Toussaint has brought together some of the new generation of British star jazz musicians in an exciting new project to commemorate the life of the late, great Art Blakey, 25 years after his passing.
Borrowed from the Messengers’ Blue Note record of the same name, Roots and Herbs: The Blakey Project explores the music of the legendary bandleader and some of his illustrious Messengers.
