Andrew Janak at Boiler Grand Hall

Janak is an active young saxophonist/composer/arranger currently based out of Lincoln, NE, formerly out of Chicago, IL. He has also worked with various groups around the Midwest such as the Omaha Symphony, Bob Lark Alumni Big Band, Tom Matta Big Band, Nebraska Jazz Orchestra, UNL Jazz Orchestra and the DePaul Jazz Ensemble.

Also an up-and-coming composer, some of Janak’s compositions have been performed/recorded by groups around the United States and has been commissioned to arrange big band music for jazz legends Randy Brecker and Victor Lewis. Boiler Grand Hall is located on the third floor of the Grand Manse building at 129 North 10th Street in downtown Lincoln, NE. Enter through the northeast doors and go through the second set of double doors. Take the elevator to the third floor and you've arrived! Show starts at 8 pm.
