One evening (6-7:30 pm) each month (October-February), the Hot Springs Jazz Society (a 501c3 nonprofit) presents a free "America's Art Form" concert (open to the public) in the auditorium at the Garland County Library in Hot Springs. The 2015-2016 series presents jazz from "The Prohibition Era and The Roaring 20s" (14 October), "USO Shows and World War II" (10 November), "Greatest Jazz Composers" (9 December), "The Great American Songbook" (13 January), and "TV/Movie Themes - Jazz Style" (10 February). On 10 November 2015, special guest David Higginbotham (vocals, upright bass) will perform with Clyde Pound (keys), Garry Henson (trumpet), Sim Flora (trombone), Stony Evans (alto sax), and Jay Payette (drums)...
