23rd Annual Hot Springs JazzFest: Guitar-rama at Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa

"Guitar-rama," the opening event for the Hot Springs Jazz Society's 23rd Annual JazzFest (Tuesday-Sunday, 16-21 September 2014), is a cross-genre presentation featuring six guitarists (Michael Carenbauer, Bill Huntington, Ted Ludwig, Les Pack, Ed Smith, Larry Womack) accompanied by 2014 Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame inductee Joe Vick (upright bass), Brian Brown (drums), and Clyde Pound (keys). Vocalist Shirley Chauvin will serve as emcee. Single tickets are $35, discounted to $30 for HSJS members. The event is included (along with "Shirley Chauvin's S'Wonderful" on Thursday and "Classical Jazz Explosion" on Friday) in the combo ticket ($75, discounted to $60 for HSJS members).
