23rd Annual Hot Springs JazzFest: Shirley Chauvin with S'Wonderful at Quapaw Baths and Spa

This event, co-hosted by the beautifully renovated Quapaw Baths & Spa on historic Bathhouse Row, is part of the Hot Springs Jazz Society's 2014 JazzFest (Tuesday-Sunday, 16-21 September). Performing in an intimate setting (with complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar) are vocalist Shirley Chauvin and her little big band S'Wonderful (described in the "Arts on Tour" section under "Programs" at www.arkansasarts.org): Clyde Pound (keys), Tim Goodwin (bass), Bill Halbrook (drums). Special guest Galen Jeter (of the Dallas Jazz Orchestra) will sit in on trumpet. Single tickets are $15 each, discounted to $10 for HSJS members. The event is included (along with "Guitar-rama" on Tuesday and "Classical/Jazz Explosion" on Friday) in the combo ticket ($75, discounted to $60 for HSJS members).
